Incidental interaction refers to a form of Human Computer Interaction whereby the system observes the user's actions and uses this to in some way improve or assist future tasks, whether by the same user or others. For example, when you listen to music on a streaming service, this updates its model of your preefrences so that it can make better recommendations in future.
